DAY 192 WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 3 FOUNDATION DAY

We started today by walking to the Busan Tourist Hotel to prepare for tomorrow's move.  We failed to find it from the main street .  We did find a statue there commemorating early family train trips.

We climbed the hill to Yongdusan Park which turned out to be a very pleasant shady spot to look down on the city.  Once again it was a favourite spot for lovers and newlyweds to leave their locks on the fence.
Still plenty of room for more on that fence. We looked at the tower but did not go inside.
We admired the Warrior Statue and found our hotel nearby.
Had an Italian morning tea at Pascussi's then lazed around at the motel until mid-afternoon .  Took a alk on the north side of the station again to look for the Container Port.  We found a pedestrian tunnel under the railway lines that was 100 meters long.
We generally feel safe around this city.  Would be doubtful about walking through that in some areas of Sydney.  We then crossed a 10 lane highway at a pedestrian crossing and found a likely Container Wharf at Pier 5.  Returned to the station for an early dinner and watched a number of sailors emerge from the station in their lovely white uniforms. How is this one?
How about these two?
Even the shoes are pure white.  But the best is yet to come.  This lass was standing in the middle of the square looking lost and reaching for her mobile.

Then a smile broke out as she saw another woman sailor on the other side of the square and the two of them smiled at each other till they met in front of the city fountain.

That kept us entertained while our dinner settled, then home to watch several episodes of CSI.
