DAY 47 FRIDAY MAY 11 PASTY FOR BREAKFAST

We got up early and went wandering again.  Found the West Cornish Past Cafe with wifi that was fast because it was so early in the day.  Cloud wifi slows right down after 9am.  Enjoyed the pasty then went on to buy miniature pork pies for lunch. After fish and chips last night we have completed the English food trifecta. At 10.15 we made our way in the cold rain to the Art Gallery where volunteer Chris took us on a 2 hour walking tour around the Minster end of town in the cold rain.  Plenty of history.  He walked us around the Roman wall to Monk Bar in the cold rain.  He completed the tour at The Shambles in the cold rain, pointing out the sculptured cats that are attached to many walls and rooves as a deterrent to birds.
Later we walked to the railway station and booked our tickets to London for Monday 6.30am. Next to the station was the big Wheel which took us 60 metres up and gave us a wonderful view of the city while the sun was out.  It started to rain shortly after we came down. Went to MacDonalds for wifi but it was very slow, so came home and posted the blog on our Kindle.
