This was our last day but the others were going to Brussels and back by train so we joined them on the train after breakfast and said goodbye when they got off.
We continued on to Brussels South where we boarded the Eurostar to London then transferred to our first class lounge at Kings Cross and enjoyed a two hour trip back to York on our favourite East Coast train with free meals and wifi. Took the time to email Eurail complaining about our experience at Amsterdam Station. We have found the York ticket office to be much better to deal with. Back to the flat in York at 3.30 and by 8.15 we had washed and dried our clothes, bought groceries for the weekend, walked back to the station, caught a train to Leeds, another train to Skipton and were settling into the good ship LEYBURN with Catherine and John, ready for our next big adventure. Our tour goes from one high to another.
